GUWAHATI, Feb 25 - The 28th Inter-College Meet of Assam Agricultural University will be organised from March 3 to 6, where nine constituent colleges under the university would participate.
This year the event would be hosted by College of Veterinary Science, Khanapara, for which different committees have been formed under the chairmanship of the Dean, Dr RN Goswami. The inaugural ceremony will commence at 9 am on March 3 with the hoisting of the varsity flag by the Vice Chancellor of AAU, Dr KM Bujarbaruah.
Hiren Chandra Nath, Commissioner of Police, Guwahati, will attend the occasion as the chief guest and Dhruba Hazarika, Member of APSC, as a guest of honour, a press release said.
Over 600 students are taking part in different events under music and culture, fine arts, games and sports, gymnasium and debate and symposium during the meet.
