AAU Dean accorded warm farewell

JORHAT, Oct 31 -The Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture of Assam Agricultural University, Dr Dipti Kumar Bora, who retired from service today, was accorded a warm farewell by several teachers, students, officers and other staff of the university.

Addressing the farewell meeting at the Department of Soil Science of the university, the Head of the Department, Dr RM Karmakar said that the academic brilliance and administrative capabilities of Dr Borah will always remain as a source of inspiration for all the students and teachers of AAU.

Dr Borah was also given a farewell at the Science and Technology Cell of the Vice-Chancellor�s Secretariat of the university.

The AAU Vice-Chancellor (in-charge) Dr Ashok Bhattacharya, who is presently in Delhi, extended his best wishes to Bora over phone for post-retirement life.
