AATA forms new committee

GUWAHATI, March 27 - The All Assam Taekwondo Association (AATA) set up its new body in the Annual General Meeting held here yesterday.

Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal was nominated as the Chief Patron while Agriculture Minister Atul Bora became the new president of the body. Sports organisers Hiranya Saikia and Pranjal Baruah were named as secretary and treasurer respectively.

The other members of the new committee are: Chairman-Bankim Ch Das, working presidents-Subrajit Hazarika, Raj Kakoti, vice presidents-Debabrata Saikia (MLA), Balin Chetia (MLA), Dr Numal Momin and 12 others. Adviser-Sanjive Narain, joint secretaries-Imradul Haque, Dr Nihar Jyoti Das, Pankaj Goswami, publicity secretaries-Pabitra Gogoi, Pranoy Bordoloi, Hildul Gogoi, Bidyut Kalita, technical committee chairman-Birinchi Saikia, referee committee chairman-Bhupal Thapa, stated a release.
