GUWAHATI, May 27 - The All Assam Tennis Association (AATA) started the training of its national level players at the AATA complex in Chachal here from today.
As per the government advisory, only national level players have been allowed in the training programme. After more than two months of lockdown due to COVID-19 pandemic, the players started their practice maintaining the social distancing norms under the supervision of the coaches.
AATA secretary Ankush Dutta informed that the All Assam Tennis Association is strictly following the directives of the government and the SOPs issued by the All India Tennis Association. Only 18 players have been selected to start the training session, stated an AATA press release.
