RAHA , Dec 8 : As part of ongoing statewide protest against the CAB, the Raha unit of the All Assam Students� Union ( AASU ) jointly with Chaparmukh AASU unit took out a torchlight rally throughout the Chaparmukh town against the Citizenship Amendment Bill this evening. During the protest, the members of the student organisations shouted slogans against the Centre and the State Governments. Mridul Hazarika, executive member AASU central committee taking part in the protest rally, said that they would oppose the Bill till it is scrapped and appealed to the Centre not to move further in this regard.
More than 100 AASU activists, senior citizens and local people of the railway town joined the rally.
