UDALGURI, April 12 - The All Assam Students� Union (AASU) is going to celebrate Bishnu Rabha Divas at the Tangla HS School playground in Tangla of Udalguri district with a two-day cultural and literary agenda. The two-day event will be held in association with the Udalguri district committee, Tangla regional committee of the students� organisation and general people of Tangla area. A reception committee to this effect was also formed recently with Ghanakanta Deka as president, Dr Basanta Daimary and Biren Ch Rabha as working presidents and Jayanta Kumar Bhattcharya as general secretary respectively.
Informing this, Jayanta Kumar Bhattacharya, general secretary of the two-day Rabha Divas said that sub committees were also formed to make the programme disciplined and smooth. A series of literary and cultural competitions among the students would also be held on the occasion while on June 20, the open session would be attended by invited guests from art and literary arena of the State, he added.
