AASU seeks probe into HS paper leak

GUWAHATI, March 7 - The AASU today demanded a probe into the allegations of HS question paper leak in Goalpara. A delegation of the student body today met Assam Higher Secondary Education Council Chairman Dr Dayananda Borgohain and Secretary Kamal Gogoi in this regard.

In a statement later, AASU president Dipanka Kumar Nath said there have been allegations of leak of the Mathematics and Chemistry question papers in Goalpara.

�The incidents should be investigated so that the students are convinced. If there is any conspiracy, it should be unearthed and the guilty brought to book at the earliest,� the delegation told the Council officials.

The AASU also expressed surprise at the silence of the government on the issue. Yesterday, the Council had in a release denied the reports of paper leak.
