GUWAHATI, Nov 2 � All Assam Students� Union (AASU) will stage dharnas all over the State on November 6 in protest against the failure of the State Government to arrest the spiraling rise in the prices of essential items, including foodstuff, diesel, cooking gas etc.
The students� body will also register its protest against the failure of the State Government to check the spread of the dreaded dengue fever and its latest decision to effect hikes in the fares of public transport.
The students� body said in a statement here today that its members would stage the dharna at the headquarters of the districts and subdivisions on November 6.
