NEW DELHI, June 29 � The AASU today urged Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh to convene a tripartite meeting to take stock of the implementation of the Assam Accord.
AASU president and general secretary Dipanka Kumar Nath and Lurin Gogoi respectively, called on Singh to discuss issues relating to implementation of the Accord.
Later, Gogoi told newsmen that they have called for time-bound implementation of the Assam Accord and review of its implementation.
�The Home Minister, however, did not give a definite reply to our demand,� said the general secretary.
