GUWAHATI, June 11 Expressing concern over the State Governments move to do away with the Assamese (Additional) subject in non-Assamese-medium schools under Sarva Shiksha Abhijan in the State, the All Assam Students Union (AASU) today said that it was a ploy of the Tarun Gogoi-led State Government to destroy the Assamese language.
