BAIHATA CHARIALI, Nov 21 - The 29th general session of All Assam Agricultural Service Officers� Association (AASOA) will be held at the office premises of the Director of Agriculture from November 23 with a two-day programme.
This was disclosed by Prafulla Saharia and Nirod Nath, publicity secretaries of AASOA in a press release issued here today.
The session will be held under the joint aegis of the association�s Kamrup district unit and central committee. The press release said that on November 23, the programme will begin with the hoisting of the flag of the association and a training for some selected farmers. At 2 pm, delegates� meeting will be held.
In the open meeting to be held on November 24, Chief minister Sarbananda Sonowal, Agriculture minister Atul Bora, Agriculture Commissioner Rajesh Prasad and Agriculture Director Manoj Kumar will grace the occasion as guests.
The AASOA has appealed to all members of the association to attend the same and extend their co-operation to make the session a success, the press release added.
