By Correspondent

ITANAGAR, Aug 14 - Describing Pawan Hans helicopters as flying coffins following repeated crashes of its choppers including the recent one in Tirap district that claimed three lives including that of IAS officer Kamlesh Joshi, the All Arunachal Pradesh Students Union (AAPSU) has urged the State Government to scrap its MoU with the company.

In a representation to the Chief Minister, the AAPSU mentioned about a number of Pawan Hans choppers crashes in the past decade-and-a-half that claimed several lives including former Chief Minister Dorjee Khandu.

These incidents should have been enough to awaken our State Government from deep slumber but to our utter surprise, the so-called flying coffins are still flying and killing people in our State, the students body observed.
