AAPSU bats for Arunachal�s integrity

ITANAGAR, Aug 24 - The All Arunachal Pradesh Students� Union (AAPSU) has welcomed the NSCN(IM)-Centre Naga peace accord but vowed to oppose the agreement, if any of the conditions included in the accord touched the territory of Arunachal.

NSCN (IM) general secretary T Muivah had made a statement at Hebron Camp on August 14 on �integrating all Naga-inhabited areas�.

�The AAPSU stands for the protection of territorial integrity of the State,� the organisation�s general secretary Biru Nasi and NESO Coordinator Pritam Waii Sonam said in a joint statement.

The student body said that they respected the emotion and sentiment of Naga people for their fight for right and liberty but would never sacrifice or compromise even an inch of their land nor its people for greater Nagaland, the statement said. � PTI
