DHUBRI, Sept 13 - Founder National Council member of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and incharge of AAP, Assam, Rajesh Sharma, attended a party meeting today and declared that their party will actively participate in the ensuing Assembly election and field strong candidates in every LAC seat of Dhubri district.
Talking to this Correspondent, Sharma said �different political issues have already been considered, but no one is talking about the basic things. No political party is talking about the infrastructure of schools, roads, jobs, electricity etc.�
He added that by polarising, the political parties were diverting the common people�s attention from the primary issues.
�We are the only party who talks about the real issues of the citizens, due to which we have been widely accepted by people from all walks of life in Assam�, Sharma added and said, �The politics in Dhubri needs to change, the AIUDF, Congress and BJP parties have only looted the people of the area and has done nothing constructive�.
The senior party leader added that they witnessed good response in the district. �We have decided to contest independently in the ensuing State Assembly election. The Congress-AIUDF alliance and the BJP alliance do not matter to us as we will field good candidates all over the state�.
He further said, �for Dhubri district, many good candidates who are free from corruption and have a good name in the society have contacted us and have shown interest towards contesting on behalf of AAP. In the district, it will be tough for the Congress, AIUDF and BJP party, and we are sure to break their nexus this time�.
Meanwhile, Anowar Hussain Ahmed, who is the party�s district coordinator, said that the party has already started different activities at the ground level and has been promoting the ideology of the party all over Dhubri district.
