By Staff Reporter

GUWAHATI, Sept 25 - The Airports Authority of India (AAI) today said that it has noticed various fake advertisements promising jobs to aspirants in its name.

Desperate candidates are reaching out to the AAI with complaints ranging from fake vacancy advertisements to fraudulent appointment letters for which they have paid money. It has been noticed that fraudulent recruitment advertisements and job offers are being made by some unscrupulous elements forging the Airports Authority of Indias name and logo and are trying to deceive general public and job aspirants by false promises of securing jobs in the AAI, an AAI spokesman said here.

AAI NER Regional Executive Director Sanjeev Jindal said that the AAI has been receiving complaints from various stations and as such has advised people to file official complaints with local police stations.

He said all the vacancies and recruitment in the AAI are notified on the AAI website (https://www.aai.aero)/Employment News/Rojgar Samachar and leading newspapers. Link to apply for AAI vacancies is available only on the AAIs official website www.aai.aero and not on any other website. Only application fee is payable at the time of online registration and no other payments are sought at any stage of recruitment.

The AAI also clarified that it has not authorised any agency or website to either advertise job vacancies or to accept any application for recruitment for AAIs vacancies.
