The Airports Authority of India (AAI) and Adani Group signed a concession agreement wherein Adani Group would oversee the maintenance and operations of Guwahati, Thiruvananthapuram and Jaipur airports. The Adani Group won a 50-year bid in February 2019 to privatize Guwahati, Lucknow, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Mangaluru and Thiruvananthapuram airports.
