A plume in the beret of Moderkhat ME School

DIBRUGARH, May 3 - The Moderkhat Girls� Middle English School has taken pride in the success of their students in the Chief Minister�s Special Scholarship Examination for the students of Class-VIII for the term 2015, and held in January last.

All the 10 students who appeared have passed the examination, a press release issued recently by the headmistress of the school stated.

In the district-wise rankings, Ananya Chetia stood first, while Simi Dutta grabbed the second position. Other successful students include Pooja Gogoi (7th), Ripurani Gogoi (9th), Vishnupriya Dutta (15th), Kritika Gogoi (19th), Jitamoni Gogoi (21st), Nikha, Gogoi (28th), Dipti Majhi (58th) and Bobita Kumari Das (70th) respectively.

Altogether, 1,059 students of Class-VIII have cleared the examination from the district, the release stated. The school management, members of local public along with the teaching fraternity felicitated the successful students for bringing laurels to their alma mater by dint of their academic pursuits.
