MUSHALPUR, March 25 � The Baksa district administration has completed its preparations for the BTC polls to be held on April 8. As per information received from the District Election Office, Ajay Trivedi, 6,27,783 voters will cast their votes in 810 polling stations in the district out of which 3,26,571 are males and 3,01,212 are female voters. There are 66 polling stations under No 20 Mathanguri BTCLAC in Salbari subdivision where out of 52,642 voters, 27,746 are male and 24,856 female. In 21 No. Salbari BTCLAC, 31,827 male and 29,378 female voters will exercise their franchise in 77 polling stations making it a total 61,205 voters. No. 22 Koklabari BTCLAC under Mushalpur Sadar subdivision has 91 polling stations with 61,812 voters where the male count is 3,300 and female count is 30,512.

Out of 55,604 voters, 28,474 males and 27,130 females will cast their votes in 76 polling stations in No. 23 Dihira constituency. There are 86 polling stations for 64,009 voters in No. 24 Mushalpur constituency with 33,221 males and 30,788 females. In No. 25 Baganpara BTCLAC, 32,366 female and 35,052 male voters will cast their votes in 89 total polling stations making it a total of 67,418 voters. A total of 51,611 voters with 24,683 female and 26,928 male will exercise their democratic rights in No. 26 Darangajuli BTCLAC under Tamulpur subdivision.

In No. 27 Nagrijuli constituency, 53 polling stations comprise 40,919 voters out of which females count for 18,865 and males count for 22,054.There are 58,061 voters in No. 28 Goybari BTCLAC where the number of female voters is 27,303 and the number of male voters is 30,758. A total of 22,706 females and 24,971 males making up 47,677 voters will cast their votes in 58 polling stations of No. 29 Suklai Serfang BTCLAC. No. 30 Goreswar BTCLAC has 66,825 voters where 32,625 females and 34,200 males will cast their votes in 80 polling stations.

In the whole election procedure, 960 large and 262 medium size ballot boxes will be required.The Baksa police administration has identified 157 polling stations as very sensitive, 442 as sensitive and 211 as safe.
