80,000 voters to exercise franchise in Nagaon dist

NAGAON, Dec 16 - Around 80,000 voters will decide the fate of 38 candidates in 10 Tiwa Autonomous Council (TAC) seats of Nagaon district tomorrow.

Around 102 presiding and 306 polling officers for around 102 polling stations in the district have already left for their respective destinations. The district administration has requisitioned around 80 vehicles to carry these officials and the security personnel to the polling stations, according to sources in the Nagaon District Information and Public Relations office.
