80 years of Assamese cinema

GUWAHATI, March 8 � On the occasion of 80 years of Assamese cinema on March 10, the Assam State Film (Finance & Development) Corporation Ltd will screen films on the Father of Assamese cinema Rupkonwar Jyotiprasad Agarwala in its premises at Panjabari on March 10 at 11 am, said a press release.

The films to be screened include - Collection of Short Films on Jyotiprasad Agarwala, directed by Charu Kamal Hazarika and Rupkonwar Jyotiprasad aru Joymoti, directed by Dr Bhupen Hazarika.
