MUSHALPUR, March 26 � The Baksa district administration has completed preparations and taken a number of measures to conduct a free and fair BTC poll on April 8. Binod Seshan, the Deputy Commissioner of Baksa in a press meet held at his office on Tuesday last informed that for the first time eight polling stations will be set up for women, in which the presiding, polling officers and even polling agents will also be women.

There will be three special operation control rooms to check crimes and offences related to election, where complaints will be received through SMS. Besides, flex banners bearing phone numbers of election officers will be displayed in some particular places for the convenience of the public. The Deputy Commissioner called upon the citizens to extend their best possible co-operation and help for the smooth conduct of a free, fair and peaceful election in Baksa.
