GUWAHATI, April 12 (PTI) - The Assam government today announced an eight per hike in dearness allowance for its employees for which it has to spend Rs 700 crore.
The hike will be implemented with retrospective effect from January 1, 2010, Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi told a press conference here.
The employees will not get DA at the rate of 35 per cent.
