NEW DELHI, May 10 - At least eight candidates from Assam have qualified for the civil services. The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has declared the final result of Civil Services Examination 2015 on Tuesday.
Padmanabh Baruah was ranked 194, topping the list of candidates from the State. He was followed by Sagarika Nath (199), Bidisha Kalita (210), Purno Borah (466), Saurabjyoti Bora (577), Jyotirmoy Bailung (786), Niharika Ingti (930) and Mamonee Doley (1,005).
Tina Dabi has topped the examination. Athar Aamir Ul Shafi Khan has bagged the second position, while Jasmeet Singh Sandhu has got the third position. A total of 1,078 candidates have cleared the civil services exam.
