KOKRAJHAR, Feb 24 - In a major break by Gossaigaon Police, eight persons were arrested on Friday in connection with the murder of Sukur Ali, who was murdered on Monday last at Joyma village in Kokrajhar district, the Superintendent of Police informed.
Those arrested are Rohis Ali, Roshnai Ali, Rofik Ali, Muhuruddin Bapari, Abu Salam, Ukiluddin Sk, Ikramul Hoque and Abdul Rahaman.
The victim was clubbed to death by iron rods on Monday at around 9.30 pm and his body was subsequently dumped near a bamboo grove near Progressive Construction Ltd (PCL) at Joyma in Kokrajhar, sources informed.
