7th CPC to be implemented in Tripura: Dy CM

AGARTALA, Aug 6 - Tripura Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Dev Varma on Monday said the government employees and pensioners are likely to get revised pay scales on the basis of 7th CPC recommendations well before Durga Puja.

The Verma Committee has been working hard to prepare its recommendations for the revision of pay scales and pension for around two lakh employees and pensioners, he said while speaking to the media here on Monday.

The Dy CM alleged the Left Front Government has not only deprived the employees but also created a lot of anomalies while fixing the pay structures.

Several individuals, employees� bodies and organisations have submitted their memorandum before the Verma Committee seeking revised pay scale at par with the 7th CPC, he said adding that the panel would submit concrete views on the memorandums.

The government has already kept fund in the Budget for implementation of 7th CPC for the employees and pensioners, he said.
