789 appearing in HSLC, AHM from Badarpur

BADARPUR, Feb 22 � Altogether 789 candidates from sixteen different high schools and high madrassas of Badarpur are appearing in the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) and Assam High Madrassa (AHM) examinations which began from Thursday.

Expressing satisfaction about the ongoing examinations, the principal of Badarpur Railway Higher Secondary School as well as the officer-in-charge of Badarpur HSLC centre committee, Pranab Chandra Sen told this correspondent that 23 examination halls have been set up in four different blocks.

Among the 789 candidates, 614 students are appearing in the new course, while 175 are appearing in the old course for both HSLC and High Madrassa examinations, he said.
