GUWAHATI, March 23 � A total of 77 persons have been killed in �witch-hunting� from 2010 till February 2015, while another 60 were injured during the period. The break-up of the dead includes 42 men and 35 women. The injured include 14 men and 46 women.
This was revealed in the Assembly today by Parliamentary Affairs Minister Rakibul Hussain while replying to a question from Prasanta Phukan (BJP).
Hussain, gave an account of the steps taken by the government to check the scourge.
