KOKRAJHAR, March 21 - Bijay Tiwari, Nurzamal Sheikh, Nilambor Roy and Biswajit Debnath, all Independent candidates for 7-Fakiragram BTC constituency withdrew their nomination papers while Manoj Kumar Rabha an independent candidate for 10-Debargaon BTC constituency, Hem Chandra Rabha, an independent candidate for 1-Parbatjhora BTC constituency and Lakhiram Tudu and Jasim Uddin Joadder both Independent candidates for 3-Srirampur (non-ST) BTC constituency also withdrew their nomination papers today.

Meanwhile, after the last day of withdrawal of nomination today, the 4th BTC election has now 72 candidates in the fray in 12 BTC constituencies in Kokrajhar district. The nomination paper of Medhi Rabha was rejected earlier.
