751 put under home quarantine in Nalbari

NALBARI, March 28 - The Nalbari district administration has decided to distribute vegetables at different places under the Nalbari Municipal areas. Deputy Commissioner Bharat Bhusan Dev Choudhury said that the selling of vegetables in rural areas will also be resumed in a phased manner so that people get the vegetables at their door steps at a reasonable prices.

During the fourth day of the lockdown today, Nalbari town wore a deserted look. Though the grocery shops were opened, people purchased their daily needs maintaining the social distancing as directed by the district administration.

In Nalbari district, a total of 751 people have been kept under home quarantine after they entered the State from outside or abroad. The Health department personnel will monitor their temperature regularly from today. Meanwhile, the district administration has decided to use the hostels of Jawahar Navoday Vidyalaya of Banekuchi village for isolation purposes. The Deputy Commissioner visited the school hostels to take the stock of the facilities available in the campus.
