GUWAHATI, Dec 15 - A seven-member team selected by the Assam Amateur Boxing Association (AABA) will participate in the 2nd Senior National Women�s Boxing Championship scheduled to be held at Rohtak from January 5 to 12.
Informing this the AABA secretary Hemanta Kumar Kalita said that international medal winning boxers Jamuna Boro and Lovelina Borgohain, who were under treatment have been included in the team as they have recovered fully.
The team will be accompanied by Geeta Chanu and Nawaz Hussain Khan as coaches and Mantu Jaidal as manager.
The camp will continue at the SAI centre in Kokrajhar till January 2.
The team members are: Rinkumoni Phukan (48kg), Manju Basumatary (51kg), Jamuna Boro (54kg), Anjima Khaklary (57kg), Pwilao Basumatary (60kg), Lovelina Borgohain (69kg), Alary Boro (75kg).
