AIZAWL, Dec 1 - Mizoram today reported its sixth fatality on account of COVID-19 after a 41-year-old male patient passed away this morning.
Lalbiakthanga, who had existing comorbidities, succumbed to the infection while undergoing treatment at the Zoram Medical College here. He was a resident of Falkland neighbourhood here.
Meanwhile, with 22 more people testing positive for COVID-19, Mizoram�s virus count today reached 3,847.
An official release stated that the 22 new cases were detected following testing of 1,677 samples during the last 24 hours. Aizawl reported the highest number of cases at 13. While four cases each were reported from Champhai and Lawngtlai, one case was reported from Serchhip district.
