65th KAAC foundation day today

DIPHU, June 22 - Elaborate arrangement has been made to celebrate the 65th KAAC foundation day which will be held on Thursday at Joysing Doloi auditorium hall complex, here.

The foundation day celebration will begin with garlanding at the statues of Semson Sing Ingti and Khorsing Terang at Semson Sing Ingti memorial park near members� hostel, Council Lake and Khorsing Terang memorial park, Diphu at 7 am. Subsequently, national flag will be hoisted at KAAC complex and it will be hoisted by Surjya Rongphar, Deputy Chairman, KAAC at 7.30 am.

From 8 am to 10 am numbers of newly constructed buildings like training-cum-guest house of Veterinary department constructed at Manja, Adult Education office building constructed at Bithiphank, Diphu, Assistant Director of Survey office building, Diphu, Biven Hemtun, Fishery department, CEM�s official residence building, Assistant Revenue Circle office building, Inspection Bungalow of Water Resources department and newly constructed Irrigation Bhawan, at Diphu-Lumding road will be inaugurated officially.

Later, an open session will be held at Joysing Doloi auditorium hall complex at noon. The open session will chaired by Surjya Rongphar, Deputy Chairman, KAAC.

Sum Ronghang, MLA of Diphu constituency will attend as special guest of honour. Biren Sing Engti, MP, Joyram Engleng, MLA of Howraghat constituency and Dr Numal Momin, MLA of Bokajan constituency will attend as guest of honour and invited guests respectively.

In the evening at 6 pm, candles will be illuminated at KAAC secretariat buildings, session hall, Semson Sing Ingti and Khorsig Terang memorial parks (old and new) and Rongpharpi Rongbe statue. A cultural function will also be organised by the Art & Culture department.
