NALBARI, Aug 6 - A total of 62 people have tested COVID-19 positive in Nalbari district today. The total positive cases in the district has gone up to 993. However, five patients have been discharged from the hospital after they were tested negative.
According to official sources, a total of 380 patients have been undergoing treatment at various COVID hospitals including 62 patients at Nalbari Swahid Mukunda Kakati Civil Hospital, 37 at Belsor Model hospital, 34 at Khatikuchi Model Hospital, 47 at Adabari Model Hospital, 47 at Makhibaha Model Hospital , 47 at Adabari Adarsha Hospital, 49 at home and 10 in Nalbari jail.
The nodal officer of Nalbari Swahid Mukunda Kakati Civil Hospital Dr Ranjan Bhattacharya said that a total of 321 COVID-19 patients have been admitted in the hospital so far. However, 244 patients have been discharged from the hospital after they tested negative. The hospital has no reported any death till today, he added. The hospital had referred one patient to GMCH for better treatment.
