AIZAWL, Nov 11 - Mizoram today reported 61 new cases of COVID-19, which took the State�s virus count to 3,217.
An official release stated that the 61 new cases were detected from among 1,412 samples tested during the last 24 hours.
An Army jawan, two policemen and an eight-month-old baby were among the 61 new patients.
Aizawl district reported the highest number of cases (44), followed by Lawngtlai district (16) cases and Hnahthial district (one).
Mizoram currently has 529 active cases. With 2,686 people having been cured of the disease, the State�s recovery rate stands at 83.50 per cent. Mizoram has so far reported two death cases.
