AGARTALA, Oct 5 - Covid-19 deaths have been continuing in Tripura with six more patients having died during the past 24 hours, according to official sources.
With the latest fatalities, the total Covid death toll rose to 296, the second-highest in the North-East region. Altogether, 322 positive cases were confirmed in the last 24 hours, thus taking the total number of infections to 26,874. Out of the total infections, 21,853 Covid patients have already recovered while the total active cases stand at 4,699.
Even with six fresh Covid deaths, the recovery rate has been increased from 80 percent to 81.39 percent while the fatality rate was 1.10 percent. The state�s positivity rate has increased to 6.74 percent even as the test per million is 99,773.
