6 Indians held for trying to enter Bangladesh

SHILLONG, July 15 (PTI): Six Indian nationals were today held by BSF for trying to enter Bangladesh through the international border in Assam and Meghalaya, BSF sources said. Two of them, Md Ashiruddin Sheikh and Abdul Awal, were held near Sishimara in Assam�s Dhubri district. Twenty two cattle and some Indian currency were seized from the duo. Four Indians were also apprehended near Umkiang in Meghalaya�s Jaintia Hills district. Some cattle were also seized from them. Two of them � Ramje Ali and Suleman hailed from Golaghat in Assam while the other two - Abdul Nasar and Habihbur Rahman were from Nagaon in Assam, BSF sources added.
