JORABAT, Aug 23 - Six suspected Bangladeshis, who were trying to enter Assam through Meghalaya, were apprehended by Meghalaya Police in Byrnihat area.
Police said that they had entered Meghalaya through Dawki border in Meghalaya and were travelling in a bus bearing registration number WB 73 C 2444.
It was when the bus met with an accident in the 18th�mile area under Byrnihat Police out post that the Bangladeshis were detected. Byrnihat police said that those apprehended could not provide any valid Indian documents.
