56,151 new voters enrolled in Manipur

IMPHAL, Nov 6 - A total of 56,151 new voters were enrolled in the run up to the 2017 Manipur Assembly polls scheduled to be held early next year, according to Chief Election Officer (CEO), Manipur, Vivek Kumar Dewangan.

Speaking to media persons at State Secretariat here on Saturday, Dewangan said the new voters will be issued voters card at the earliest

CEO also informed the media that Information Technology will be utilised in the upcoming Assembly elections, so complaints and grievances can be uploaded on-line and the complainants can track their complaints by using SAMADHAN software and call the Customer care number 1950.
