54 new cases in Manipur

IMPHAL, June 18 - Manipur has reported 54 new COVID-19 cases, raising the total number of infections to 606.

In the last 24 hours, 54 persons tested positive for COVID-19, said Dr Kh Sasheekumar Mangang, Additional Director and spokesperson of the State Health Department in a press release today.

All of them are being shifted to COVID care facilities and all necessary measures like containment and contact tracing are being done.

The number of positive cases in the State is 606, including 407 active cases. Seven COVID-19 patients were discharged from the RIMS following their recovery. The total number of recovered cases is 199 and the recovery rate is 32.83 per cent.
