DIBRUGARH, March 18 - Altogether 53 candidates submitted their nominations for contesting in the Assembly polls. Today was the last day for filing of nominations and it saw the highest number of candidates filing their papers.
Chakradhar Gogoi (BJP), Paban Singh Ghatowar (INC), Hiranya Baruah (CPI), Sunil Rajkonwar (AGP-AM), Ashok Urang (Ind), Jiten Baruah (Ind), Rubul Buragohain (Ind) and Alfred Ali (Ind) filed their nominations for Moran LAC.
Prasanta Phukan (BJP), Chandra Kanta Baruah (INC) Diganta Phukan (CPI) Bipul Das (AGP-AM), Jugen Kachari (Ind), Avinash Singh (Ind) and Padmadhar Phukan (Ind) have submitted nominations for Dibrugarh LAC.
The candidates who filed nominations for Lahoal LAC are Rituprana Baruah (BJP), Prithivi Majhi (INC), Rajesh Rajput (CPI), Priyanath Gogoi (AGP-AM), Ranjit Konwar (Ind), Boga Kr Nag (Jana Congress), Kumud Gogoi (Ind), and Sambhulal Sobor (Ind).
The candidates for Duliajan LAC are Teros Gowala (BJP), Dhrubajyoti Gogoi (INC), Sunil Tanti (CPI-ML), Jhuma Debnath (Shiv Sena), Hiranya Sonowal (AGP-AM), Ramesh Ch Phukan (Ind), Amiya Gogoi (Ind), Anjali Senapati (Jana Congress), Prabin Kr Hazarika (Ind), Jatin Konwar (Ind) and Isak Korkoria (Ind).
For Tingkhong LAC, the candidates who filed nominations are Bimal Bora (BJP), Atuwa Munda (INC), Mira Tanti (CPI-ML), Eliash Sichan (Jharkhand Disom Party), Dilip Bharali (Bharat Bikas Morcha) and Anup Phukan (AGP-AM).
The candidates for Naharkatia LAC are Pranati Phukan (INC), Naren Sonowal (AGP), Suresh Ch Deka (CPI-ML), Arabinda Sonowal (Independent), Mohan Nag (Ind), Tirtha Gogoi (Ind) Mahendra Dadhumia (Ind) and Sadananda Das (Jana Congress).
For Chabua LAC, the candidates are Binod Hazarika (BJP), Raju Sahu (INC), Debnath Majhi (CPI-ML), Robin Ch Kachari (Ind), and Utpal Kakoti (Ind).
