50 candidates file papers at Kokrajhar

KOKRAJHAR, March 25 � A total of fifty candidates today filed nomination papers in Kokrajhar district for the ensuing BTC election schedule for April 8 next.

The candidates are sitting Congress MCLA, Afjal Haque Sarkar from Fakiragram constituency and other candidates who have filed their nominations today from the Fakiragram constituency were Pioli Phukan Nath (PCDR), Bipin Barman (Independent), Rina Das (Ind), Abdul Ali Mondal (AIUDF), Amar Sarkar (Ind) and Motiur Rahaman (Ind).

The candidates who have filed their nomination today from the Debargaon constituency were Ashok Kumar Borgayary (Cong) and Sonaram Basumatary (Ind) while Driti Sundar Basumatary (Cong) and Aparna Das (Ind) have filed their nomination form Salakati constituency. Dilip Kumar Brahma (Ind), Hem Chandra Brahma (Ind), Kalpana Rabha (Cong), Ansula Rwnao Brahma (BJP), Rabiram Narzary (PCDR), Basanta Kr Medhi (Ind) and Jatindra Nath Brahma (AIUDF) filed their nomination papers today from Parbatjhora constituency.

Dhanu Ram Mushahary (Cong) also submitted his nomination paper today from the Banorgaon constituency. Rajesh Brahma (Cong), Baleswar Basumatary (Ind), Mahesh Das (Ind), Putul Das (Ind), Manjit Basumatary (Ind) and Pradip Rabha (Ind) have also submitted their nomination papers today from the Baukhungri constituency.

On the other hand ten candidates today filed nomination papers from Guma constituency while eight candidates filed nominations from Srirampur constituency. Eight candidates filed nominations from Jamduar, seven candidates from Saraibil, six candidates from Kachugaon and ten candidates filed nomination papers from Dotma constituency.
