IMPHAL, Sept 24 - Army troops apprehended four Kuki undergrounds belonging to KUFO from Senapati district, according to a PIB, Defence Wing press release.
The four cadres of KUFO were apprehended in an operation carried out on September 22 in Mothang village of Senapati district. One AK 47 rifle, one .303 rifle, one 5.56 mm INSAS rifle and a 7.65 mm pistol magazine with 23 live rounds were also seized from their possession.
Meanwhile, in a separate incident, one activist of banned Kanglei Yawol Kanna Lup (KYKL) was nabbed by security forces from Thoubal Keithel of Thoubal district yesterday, a police report said. The KYKL activist was arrested by a combined team of police commandos and Assam Rifles.
