IMPHAL, March 24 � At least five persons were killed in two separate road accidents in Manipur in the last 24 hours.
In the first accident at Nungdalan in Senapati district, three persons died on the spot when a truck they were travelling on, fell into a deep gorge. Another one later succumbed to injuries. In another incident, one Y Surendra (60) of Imphal, died when an Army vehicle hit him at Keishampat in Imphal this morning.
