GUWAHATI, May 28 � The CJM Court here today remanded three NDFB cadres, allegedly involved in the October 30 serial blasts, to five days� CBI custody. The trio was arrested last evening from Kokrajhar area.
The cadres � identified as B Ansari, Lokhra and Indra Brahma � were reportedly arrested based on the revelations made by arrested NDFB chief Ranjan Daimary. The cadres were allegedly involved in one of the nine blasts that took place in Bongaigaon on October 30, 2008.
Interestingly, names of the three cadres did not feature in the charge sheet filed by the CBI in connection with the 2008 serial blasts.
Sources, however, stated that there is a definite chance of their names being included in the supplementary chargesheet the investigation agency is likely to file.
Meanwhile, Rahul Brahma, another dreaded NDFB cadre who was directly involved in the Pan Bazar blast is likely to be produced in the Court tomorrow. Brahma, one of the chargesheeted accused in the serial blasts, was also arrested on yesterday from Zero area in Arunachal Pradesh.
