AIZAWL, Jan 15 (PTI): Mizoram Home Minister R Lalzirliana today said the state police has arrested five persons for spreading false information on social media.
Addressing a press conference in Aizawl, Lalzirliana said that Ruth Chalthansawmi (23) of Aizawl and her four accomplices were arrested on charges of spreading false
information in the social media.
The accused allegedly posted on social networking site Facebook that a girl was gangraped and the victim died after being brought to the Aizawl Civil Hospital.
