ITANAGAR, March 26 - Three suspected operatives of banned insurgent group NSCN (K) have been apprehended and arms and ammunition seized by the police from Lower Dibang Valley district of Arunachal Pradesh.
Officials said the three were apprehended during a special operation conducted by police few days back. They said they have apprehended the three cadres in an operation in Kalapani area of Dambuk in the district.
An automatic rifle, a loaded magazine, 25 bullets of AK series assault rifle were seized from the NSCN (K) members.
Meanwhile, Assam Rifles apprehended another cadre of the banned NSCN(K) during an operation in Changlang district, a Defence communique informed here on Saturday. He was apprehended yesterday morning by Assam Rifles and a pistol and live ammunition were seized from his possession. � PTI
