Jorhat, Feb 27: Four new COVID-19 positive cases were found in Jorhat district on Friday.
Jorhat Deputy Commissioner Roshni A Korati stated that the total number of positive cases in the district increased to 12,320 on Friday after four people were found positive.
She informed that the total number of active cases in the district on Friday was 13 and total number of discharged was 12,167 and number of COVID deaths was 68 till date.
It may be mentioned here that on February 17 five positive cases were found in the district which was a rise in number of positive cases detected in a day in the past about two months as the number of positive cases detected in a day came down considerably in the district during the said period with several days remaining nil.
