DERGAON, Oct 24 - Four KMSS activists were arrested today by the Golaghat Police on charges of damaging the railway track at Tengani in Golaghat during yesterday�s bandh.
The police arrested Puna Bora (Nowjan), Pranjal Dowerah (Tengani), Ananta Gogoi (Tengani) and Durlav Tamuly (Tengani) on the basis of an FIR lodged by the Railways. The SP, Golaghat revealed that all the persons involved in the incident would be arrested soon. On the other hand, Biduyi Saikia, the central secretary of Chatra Mukti Sangram Samiti opined that the activists of KMSS were arrested by the SP Golaghat for his own benefit.
