GUWAHATI, Jan 24 The Assam Tourism Development Forum (ATDF) is organising its 3rd edition of the Vintage Car Show here on February 8. The event is being supported by the Assam Tourism as part of the ongoing Assam Carnival organised by the Department of Tourism, Government of Assam. This was stated in a press release.

For the technical support of the event, ATDF is closely associating with the Heritage Automobile Association of Assam (HAAA), which is a forum of vintage/classic car owners with the primary objective to preserve the existing vintage and classic cars as well as motorcycles in the region and also help its members in maintaining these beauties of the past in an immaculate and pristine condition.

The Assam Tourism has always been closely associated with the event and supporting the vintage car enthusiasts. The footfall in the previous editions of the car rally were overwhelming which had concurrent live band shows and food, games and souvenir stalls. The day-long programme was fun-filled for the motor-sport minded audience. This year too the organisers are planning to gather some of the best vintage/classic cars of the region for display, the release added.
