IMPHAL, May 17 - A total of 3,26,548 job aspirants are registered in different employment exchanges in Manipur at the end of March, 2019, according to a monthly report issued by the State Directorate of Employment.
According to official sources, the total number of registered job seekers in Imphal West district is 51,838, including 32,219 males and 19,619 females.
Imphal East district has 38,525 (24,983 males and 13,542 females), Thoubal 42,660 (30,404 males and 12,256 females), Bishnupur 37,042 (27,041 males and 10,001 females), Churachandpur 35,762 (30,041 males and 5,721 females), Ukhrul 26,255 (18,700 males and 7,555 females), Senapati 51,081 (31,186 males and 19,895 females), Tamenglong 24,186 (16,400 males and 7,786 females) and Chandel 15,465 (9,483 males and 5,982 females).
